The Monbulk Football Netball Club was established in 1895 and is one of the oldest football clubs in Victoria – of any code.

The Monbulk Junior Football Club was established in 1972 and like our senior club, we pride ourselves on providing outstanding facilities and sporting opportunities for our town and surrounding district.

In 2025, the Monbulk Junior Football Club will field eight teams in the Outer East Football Netball League (OEFNL) -
Under 9 Mixed, Under 10 Boys Gold, Under 10 Boys Maroon, Under 11 Girls, Under 12 Mixed, Under 13 Girls, Under 14 Boys and Under 16 Boys.

As part of the Outer East Football Netball (OEFN), the Monbulk Junior Football Club is committed to protecting children and young people from all forms of abuse, racism, neglect and maltreatment.

It is the responsibility of every person, at every level of involvement to understand the important and specific role they play individually and collectively to ensure that the safety of all children and young people is at the forefront of all they do and every decision they make.

OEFNL and the MJFC have zero tolerance for child abuse and racism and strives to empower children and young people through listening to their concerns and valuing their contributions, especially enabling Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children to express their culture and enjoy their cultural rights.

You can view the OEFN Child Safety and Wellbeing Policies here and also download them as PDFs below. We also have Child Safety Posters around our clubrooms and change rooms.
