The Monbulk Football Netball Club was established in 1895 and is one of the oldest football clubs – of any code. The Monbulk Junior Football Club was established in 1972 and like our senior club, we pride ourselves on providing outstanding facilities and sporting opportunities for our town and surrounding district.

In 2024 the Monbulk Junior Football Club will field TEN teams in the Outer East Football Netball (OEFN) -
Under 9 Mixed, Under 10 Girls, Under 10 Boys, Under 12 Girls, Under 12 Boys, Under 13 Boys, Under 14 Girls, Under 14 Boys, Under 16 Girls and Under 16 Boys.

As part of the Outer East Football Netball (OEFN), the Monbulk Junior Football Club is committed to protecting children and young people from all forms of abuse, racism, neglect and maltreatment.

It is the responsibility of every person, at every level of involvement to understand the important and specific role they play individually and collectively to ensure that the safety of all children and young people is at the forefront of all they do and every decision they make.

OEFN and the MJFC have zero tolerance for child abuse and racism and strives to empower children and young people through listening to their concerns and valuing their contributions, especially enabling Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children to express their culture and enjoy their cultural rights.

You can view the OEFN Child Safety and Wellbeing Policies here and also download them as PDFs below. We also have Child Safety Posters around our clubrooms and change rooms.
